It all begins with a vision. Our clients located in Greensboro, North Carolina desired to create a beautiful immersive experience right outside their home that would would transform you into another environment. Our goal was to intentionally design a walk through experience designed around inspiration of Japanese Garden elements. Creating moments of pause, meditation spaces, sound therapy, and intimate gathering spaces while including a variety of landscape architecture details along with rake sand gardens and stone features. From utilizing the historical wood burning preservation and weathering techniques of sho shugi ban, the exterior intricately angled privacy barriers offer so much more than a visual aesthetic and privacy but hold so much history in wood finishing technic offering beautiful texture and deep color to the space contrasting the bright integrated Japanese horticulture.
